Lisa Bour is passionate about helping others, and she uses a warm and empathetic therapeutic approach to connect with her clients. Lisa received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida, her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, and her Master’s in Professional Counseling Psychology from Florida International University. Lisa’s genuine interest in helping people improve their lives and reach their full potential is what led her to become a therapist.
Lisa has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient hospitalization, and outpatient services. Lisa has worked with clients with behavioral disorders, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, interpersonal skill deficits, emotion regulation problems, and self-esteem issues. Lisa received training in individual and group therapy at the Center for Children and Families at Florida International University, as well as Oliver-Pyatt Centers, an eating disorder treatment facility.
