I am the Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Counseling Group, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been loving what I do for 24 years! I’ve had the priviledge of providing individual, couple and family therapy for many who want professional support and direction.

As a graduate from the University of Miami, my training and experience have granted the ability to establish a diversified practice. Throughout my professional career, I have worked for the Department of Psychiatry at Miami Children’s Hospital and at several treatment centers, including working with national corporations, the underpriviledged, local schools and private practice.

My goal is to help you and take pride when I am told that my impartial and open attitude helped children, teens and adults deal with work or school related issues, depression, anxiety, relationships, blended families, stress, recovery support, anger management and eating disorders.

I have worked with couples who desire an amicable divorce as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Divorce and Family Mediator. I am also approved by the Family Division of the 11th Circuit Court as a Parent Coordinator, resulting from my expertise in fostering communication and problem-solving skills between divorcing or divorced parents. My role as a Parent Coordinator helps in achieving a cooperative parenting plan for children.

My role as a therapist extends beyond the walls of my office. I reach out to the community by leading seminars, meeting a student at school to speak with teachers or counselors and will make house calls if indicated. This flexibility has grown to be one of the most unique and rewarding aspects of my work.
